Happy Birthday Nunny!
Though it may not look like it in the above picture I adore my sister Liane (AKA Nunny)! Us three 'sissies' share an indescribable bond. I cannot tell you how amazing Liane is. Stunningly gorgeous, extremely caring and compassionate, amazingly wise, a shitload of fun, and a fabulous friend to those around her.
She is my go to person on everything. She knows everything about me. Whenever we're together we have a world of our own (much to Daddy-O's occasional annoyance and amusement), where we don't even need to speak and we are rolling on the floor laughing. We've got that weird connection where out of the blue we will say the same thing at the same time.
I would do anything for her. And I'm frustrated because I really cannot articulate how much she means to me. Whoever has her in their lives are extremely blessed.
I dream of the day we can live in the same city again (come to Sydney!).
And it is her 27th birthday today and she is far away in London Town. Daddy-O and I left her a message on her mobile, as she is probably slaving away being her fabulous social-worker self.
I wish we could be celebrating together. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NUNNY!
"Love you, bye."

A-Tishooo!
Groan! Moan! I think I caught me some man flu!
Nah! I'm not that bad but I am whinging a bit because I haven't been any where near what you could call sick in ages...And now I have one of those anboying head colds where it is quite hard to think clearly...
But I'm trying to stay up-beat and take vitamins and drink water and visualise myself in perfect health. So to stay focused here are some pretty pics from earlier on in the week :)

Daddy-O made a delicious Cheese Fondue last weekend. Hmmm maybe that wasn't so nutritionally meaningful!
The weather was so beautiful on Monday, I moved my office out to the Courtyard and kept Daddy-O's laundry company
So, wish me happy healing!

Shower Power
I wish I could look more like the lady above and less like a drowned rat when in the shower. Maybe I should start wearing lipstick as I am scrubbing down...
So, I had a very powerful shower on Sunday. Strange I know! But it is truly a place for thinking, for problem-solving, for dreaming and setting intentions. So much so that I am going to put a shower-proof writing pad on my wishlist :)
Why was it such a powerful shower do you ask?
Well, I had two clear intentions pop up in my head...
1. That I wanted to meet some interesting women that I could interview for the podcast
2. That I should talk to Dad about actually starting the memoirs he's been talking about for years.
Well, I'm sure you can guess.
Yes. I started to meet really interesting women (and it is only Tuesday morning!). On Sunday evening I went to a friend's birthday gathering. The friend's sister was up visiting from Melbourne. Lou is a fabulous young going through some really interesting life overhaul changes and is moving to India. Bingo, I asked if she would be interested in being my first interviewee and she said yes!
Then last night, I put on my artistic outfit and trotted out to visit a friend's father's photographic exhibition.
My Artistic Look last night - Flower Power and looking a bit vampy!
The photos were beautiful double exposures of leaves and Sydney scenery. It really inspired me to get cracking with a camera. I've found that you do look at the world quite differently when you think of it in frames.
Anyway, I met another interesting young woman who has come back from a holiday in Morocco, Dubai and Thailand who is an interior designer. We had a chat about her views on going back to study, design and the impact it can have on people. So voila, I have sourced another lady to interview!
Then on Monday morning, Daddy-O came downstairs and said that he is going to start working on his book!
So there you go - those Sunday shower intentions were powerful!!!! And I didn't even do it that consciously. So what will happen if I do??
What are you putting out there? Do you use the shower for dreaming, planning and setting intentions?

SSS Podcast Episode #002 - Bucket (101) List
Hello and welcome to Savvy Sassy She's Podcast Episode #002 - The Bucket (101) List
Click the 'play' button below to listen or Download MP3
Overview of Episode
Episode #002 is a discussion around Bucket Lists. I cover the benefits of having one, how to create, use and share them.
I like to call them '101 things to do in my fabulous life' (rather than 101 things to do before I die!).
Enjoy!
Resources
Here is a list of Bucket List sites where you can get ideas share your own or help others tick things off their list:
Bucketlist.net
Squidoo 100 Things
Bucketlist.org
Arienne's Bucket List
I also suggest googling 'Bucket List' and '101 things to do' and interesting articles, blogs and sites will come up.
And the movie The Bucket List
You may want to create it in Word, in your diary, on your phone (I use Paperless - which I realised I spelt incorrectly in the podcast!).
I thought this pic of the boys below was cute - you can choose how you want to share yours :)
Savvy Activity
Create you own bucket list
Store it in an accessible place (even put a copy behind the bathroom door!)
Review it weekly
Share it with others for accountability
Take action!
